This week, we had entries featuring Industrial, Exhaust Headers, Race Radiators, and Exhaust Systems. We tried to focus on complete parts rather than 1-10″ sections of welding. The idea was to have featured images that showcase finished products. We will be looking for that this week in our submissions as well. Good luck and submit early!
On to the Review!

“Steel welded with 70sd2 rod” Chris Wilkes Fabrications
Ron is no stranger to the world of motorsports. He knows a thing or 2 about Fabrication owning both a successful drift team and one of the most historic Import Drag teams in history. We recently had a sit down with Ron B. to speak quickly on his thoughts of Fabrication. Sit back and listen. It is great to hear someone speak who isn’t just another critic, but a student of the art. When you love fabrication, you are proud to see it anywhere you can.
This was one of our most packed Tig’d Up Tuesdays in a while. We numbers of submissions, and work from all industries sent in. We chose 10 this week, and the page saw traffic from across the globe!
As we said before, we will be featuring more than 10 entries every week now, so make sure you get your submissions in. If we do not use them, please keep sending. We may use one you send on a future post in the page.
Fabrication Life fans, we need your opinion! We posted the photo below yesterday, and we all were obsessed with it. Everything about it screamed BAD ASS! Spending the day with the materials to make this happen is even worse because we got that itch. You all know the itch… it’s a curse!
Tig’d Up Tuesday is that day when our Fan Page goes crazy. We get messages right and left and we post tons of work people send in. There is no method to our madness on this day, no strategy, no timing structure, and no perfect weld to send. Some days we will only post the best work, and some days we will pick 1-3 photos which need critique, or in which a welder needs advice, and we will post them for the crowd. What we mean basically is we have no exact process for Tig’d Up Tuesday.
We also have a new “How-To” post for those of you looking for better weld prep techniques. This post has gained strong attention.
Happy Holidays to all of our Fabrication Life fans! Always, receiving tons of Tig’d Up Tuesday submissions, we posted a few we felt to show off. Here, we will seperate by date posted. Enjoy the selection and tell us your favorites. We are partial to the flask!
